Ingredients

Recipe makes 36 Servings

12 Oz vanilla wafers
1/2 cup(s) unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup(s) unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cup(s) light brown sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
2 cup(s) walnut halves and pieces
12 Oz semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F.

Spray a shallow (13 x 9-inch) baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

Place vanilla wafers in food processor bowl. Process into coarse crumbs.

Add melted butter and process for 10 seconds to combine.

Pour crumb mixture in prepared sheet pan and bake in center oven rack for 10-12 minutes.

Let cool before filling.

Combine softened butter, brown sugar and eggs in a bowl and beat with an electric mixer on high speed for 1 minute.

Stir in walnuts and pour mixture over baked crust.

Bake in center oven rack for 25 minutes or until lightly golden.

Cool and cut into 36 bars 1-inch by 2-inches.

Using a double boiler, melt chocolate chips.

Dip the bars into melted chocolate chips
