Unsaved Avocado Turkey Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Lean ground turkey
  • 1 Large avocado(s), cut into large chunks
  • 2 tsp Citrus srirachca rub
  • 1 tbsp Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup Almond meal
  • 1 Medium Fresh jalapeno pepper(s), seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 4 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 Large Fresh beefsteak tomato(es), chopped
  • 1 Medium Fresh cucumber(s), chopped
  • 2 tbsp Lime
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine turkey, avocado, rub, garlic, almond meal, jalapeño and salt.
  3. Mix well and form into 4 patties.
  4. Grill patties for 7 minutes per side or until an internal thermometer reads 165ºF.
  5. Prepare salad by combining lettuce, tomato, cucumber, lime juice and oil in a large bowl. Toss to coat.
  6. To serve, divide salad among 4 plates and top with a burger.
