Unsaved Garden Greens with Pears & Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 2 Lemons, juiced
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 Pear, cored and sliced thin
  • 8 oz Garden salad blend
  • 1/4 cup Asiago shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup Walnut halves and pieces
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Combine the lemon juice and water in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Dip the pear slices in the lemon water and allow to dry on paper towel.
  3. Place salad into a large bowl and layer with the pears, Asiago cheese and walnuts.
  4. Cover salad with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve.
  5. Combine the olive oil, pomegranate juice and Dijon mustard in small bottle with lid.
  6. Shake the dressing and toss into the salad before serving.
