1 1/2 Lb H-E-B Organics Bread Flour
2 Tbsp Morton Coarse Kosher Salt
1 1/4 Lb H-E-B Organics Pure Cane Sugar
1 1/4 cup(s) Hill Country Fare Enriched Yellow Cornmeal
4 Tbsp H-E-B Select Ingredients Double Acting Baking Powder
5 H-E-B Grade AA Cage Free Large Brown Eggs
2 1/2 cup(s) H-E-B Select Ingredients Whole Milk
1 1/2 cup(s) Hill Country Fare Vegetable Oil
1 Tbsp H-E-B Select Ingredients Bagel Not Included Smoky Jalapeno Spice Blend

Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray 4 loaf pans with baking spray and set aside.

Using a large bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, cornmeal and baking powder together with a whisk.

In a small bowl, whisk eggs, milk and oil together.

Combine wet to dry ingredients and slowly mix with a rubber spatula until completely incorporated with no dry spots.

Fill each loaf pan halfway with cornbread batter then sprinkle smoky jalapeño seasoning over the top.

Bake for 40 minutes. To test for doneness, insert a wooden skewer or toothpick in the center. If it pulls out clean, it's done.

Serve hot or at room temperature.
