1 The Real Co Himalayan Salt Cooking Slab
1 Prime 1 thick T-bone steak
1 Tsp kosher salt, plus more as needed
1 Tsp cracked black pepper, plus more as needed
1/2 cup(s) Two Bros Local Yokel House Original BBQ Sauce, plus more as needed
1 1/2 cup(s) crispy French fried onions, plus more as needed

Instructions

Place salt block on grill. Slowly bring grill temperature to 350ºF by setting grill at 200ºF for 15 minutes, then raising it to 275ºF for 10 minutes, and finally 350ºF. Gradually raising temperature of salt block makes it less likely to crack.

Meanwhile, season meat with salt and black pepper then let sit at room temperature while salt block heats.

Place steak on salt block and cook 10 to 12 minutes.

Flip steak and cook until internal temperature is 140ºF, about 15 to 25 minutes (cooking time varies based on thickness).

Pull steak from grill and rest 10 minutes.

Mix BBQ sauce and crispy onions. Serve on top of steak..
