1/4 cup(s) masa
1 1/2 cup(s) water, divided use
2 cup(s) whole milk
1 cup(s) horchata
3 Oz Abuelita Hot Chocolate, 3 packets
1 1/2 Tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions

In a small bowl mix masa with 1/2 cup of water until well combined.

In a medium size pot, add remaining water, milk and horchata. Stir over medium-low heat until steaming hot, about 5 to 10 minutes.

Add masa mixture to pot and stir occasionally for 15 minutes or until thickened.

Add hot chocolate and cocoa powder to pot and stir until incorporated.

Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Chef's Tip: If too sweet, add additional cocoa powder.
