2 Lb H-E-B Organics Pure Cane Sugar
2 Bolner's Fiesta Brand Vanilla Beans, cut in half, beans (seeds) scraped out, keep pods

Instructions

Place sugar in a bowl and add vanilla beans and whole scraped vanilla bean pods. Mix until vanilla is well distributed through the sugar.

Transfer vanilla sugar to a resealable jar large enough to hold 2 pounds of sugar.

Seal with lid and set aside for at least 24 hours before using. Sugar will last a few months in a cool, dry place.

Chef's Note: Vanilla sugar can be used cup for cup as a replacement for any recipe calling for regular sugar.
