NY Strip Steaks with Garlic Blue Cheese Butter

Chef Matt shows you how to make a mouth-watering steak using his favorite cut of meat, a New York strip steak. Simply seasoned with kosher salt, black pepper and a blue cheese compound butter.

New York Strip Steak
This cut comes from  the short loin or the boneless top loin muscle, one of the most tender sections of beef. It's also known as the Kansas City Steak, New York Steak, Ambassador Steak or the Boneless Club Steak. The bone-in strip steak is the same as a porterhouse steak.
