Ingredients

Recipe makes 5 Servings

1 Lb Cheese tortellini
2 Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
2 Tbsp Garlic cloves, minced
2 cup(s) Cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 Tsp Kosher salt
1/2 Tsp Ground black pepper
1 Tbsp Fresh basil, chopped
2 Tbsp Grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water for sauce. Set aside.

Place olive oil in medium sized skillet over medium heat.

Add garlic and cherry tomatoes and sauté until tomatoes wilt slightly.

Add pasta water, salt and pepper and simmer briefly.

Add tortellini and basil. Toss to coat.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.
