1 H-E-B Select Edamame Soybeans In Natural Shell, frozen
1/4 cup(s) HEB Organics canola oil, garlic flavored
1 Tsp sesame oil
2 Tsp fresh garlic, finely minced
1/2 Tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 Tsp kosher salt

Instructions

Fill a medium sauce pan 2/3 full with water and bring to boil. Add edamame and cover. Bring back to a boil. Then remove lid and boil for 4 minutes. Drain.

Add oils, garlic, pepper and salt to same pan. Return to a burner, set on medium. Add drained edamame back into pan and stir pods just to coat in oils, garlic and pepper flakes. Adjust salt quantity, if desired.

As an appetizer, serve warm with a spare bowl for the empty pods. if using as a side dish you may also substitute shelled edamame. All ingredients and directions. are the same
