Rosemary Mandarin Spritz

Recipe makes 6 Servings

3 Lb Drop Mandarins, divided use
1 cup(s) sugar
2 bunches fresh rosemary, divided use
1/2 cup(s) Reposado Tequila, optional
1 bottle Vinho Verde
2 cup(s) Central Market Organics Italian Soda Pomegranate

Instructions

Juice enough mandarins to get 1/2 cup of juice.

In a small saucepan, combine juice with sugar, 1/2 cup water and 1 bunch fresh rosemary. Place over medium heat, bring to a light simmer and and cook until sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool.

Peel 2 mandarins and separate into individual segments. Then slice a few remaining mandarins for garnish. Set aside.

Place a few of the segmented mandarins, the sliced mandarins and a few sprigs of rosemary into the bottom of a large pitcher or drink dispenser. Gently crush with a spoon.

Add 2 cups of ice followed by tequila, wine and pomegranate soda. Stir well.

To serve, pour spritz in 6 ice filled glasses and garnish with a mandarin segment and a rosemary sprig.
