Recipe makes 8 Servings

5 Lb brisket flat
1/3 cup(s) Humble House Guajillo & Red Jalapeno Sauce
2 Tbsp kosher salt
2 Tbsp cracked black pepper

Instructions

Place brisket in a pan lined with parchment paper. Rub Guajillo & Red Jalapeno Sauce evenly over entire brisket. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 8 hours.

Preheat smoker to 225ºF.

Rub salt and pepper over entire brisket. Set aside 30 minutes at room temperature.

Smoke brisket 1 1/2 hours per pound until tender and internal temperature reads at least 190ºF. Cover with plastic wrap and foil and allow to rest at least 45 minutes before carving.
