Sweet and Spicy BBQ Pulled Pork

Ingredients

Recipe makes 12 Servings

2 Tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 Tbsp Adkins Western Style Barbecue Seasoning
4 Lb boneless pork butt
8 Oz red onion, sliced
28 Oz Mark's Good Stuff Sweet 'N Spicy BBQ Sauce, divided use
14 Oz water

Instructions

Preheat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat.

In a large bowl, combine olive oil, seasoning and pork butt, turning pork to coat on all sides.

Brown pork on all sides, about 4 minutes per side.

Place pork in slow cooker with red onions, 1 bottle of bbq sauce and water. Cook on low for 8 hours.

Once pork is pull apart tender, cool slightly and shred with tongs and mix with remaining BBQ sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Chef's Note: Serve on slider buns or burger buns with pickles, red onions or a slaw.
