Roasted Jalapeño Salmon Burger

4 jalapeño peppers, plus more as desired for topping
2 Fiesta Salmon Burgers
1 Tbsp vegetable oil, plus more as needed
1/4 cup(s) Jalapeno Bacon Jam, plus more as needed
2 Pretzel Buns, plus more as needed

Instructions

Preheat broiler. Position oven rack 6 to 8 inches from broiler.

Place jalapeños on a sheet pan and roast under broiler until charred on all sides (watch carefully and rotate jalapeños as needed to get color).

Once roasted, place jalapeños in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap to steam. Set aside.

Place a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Brush salmon burgers with oil then sear until nicely browned.

Flip burgers, lower heat, and cook until internal temperature reads 160ºF.

Meanwhile, peel and seed jalapeños.

To assemble burgers, spread bacon jam on both halves of each pretzel bun, add burger, and top with peeled and seeded jalapeños.

Garnish with any other burger condiments as desired.
