Instructions

1
Prepare oatmeal cookies according to package instructions and set aside to cool.
2
In a food processor, combine marshmallow fluff, shortening, sugar, vanilla, and salt together. Blend until mixture is smooth and creamy. Pour woopie pie filling into a piping bag or gallon Ziploc bag.
3
Flip an oatmeal cookie over and pipe enough cream to come to edge of cookie and place another cookie on top (As you would any sandwich cookie). Repeat this process until you have made all the pies. (This recipe makes about 9 sandwich cookies).
4
Refrigerate cookie pies for at least 20 minutes and let them set before decorating.
5
To decorate wookie pies, place chocolate frosting in a piping bag and pipe small peaks around the edge of cream filling covering it up. (This will form the outer fur of wookie head). Then, using black and white icing, make the eyes and mouth. Feel free to try different icings to get really creative with cookies. Serve at any Star Wars themed party.
