  • 1/2 lb Chicken thighs, chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 lb Frozen crawfish tailmeat
  • 2 cups Frozen okra
  • 2 tbsp Garlic canola oil
  • 1 Gumbo mix
  • 1/2 lb Smoked sausage, sliced

Instructions

  1. Add garlic canola oil to a large soup pot. Add chicken, sausage and crawfish to pan. Sauté over medium high heat until chicken is cooked through, about 5 to 6 minutes.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and add gumbo, chicken stock and frozen okra to pot. Bring to a simmer and let cook about 15 minutes.
  3. Serve gumbo alone or over cooked rice as desired.
