Ingredients

Recipe makes 12 Servings

1 cup(s) Shredded mild cheddar cheese, regular
1 1/2 cup(s) Whole wheat all purpose baking mix
2 Large eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cup(s) Reduced fat 2% milk
1 cup(s) Black Forest ham, chopped

Instructions

Heat an electric griddle to 375°F or a large heavy-bottom cast iron skillet 3 minutes on high heat.

Combine cheese, baking mix, eggs, and milk in a 2-quart mixing bowl. Stir batter well.

Spray hot skillet or griddle with nonstick cooking spray.

Sprinkle 1 Tablespoon chopped ham on the skillet for each pancake. Pour 1/4 cup pancake batter over top of ham.

Cook pancakes 1 to 1 1/2 minutes per side. Turn pancakes only once.

Serve with your favorite pancake syrup.
