Grilled Hickory Chicken Burger with Cheddar Cheese and Peppers

Recipe makes 4 Servings

1 Tbsp olive oil
4 chicken breasts, fat trimmed and pounded about 1-inch thick
1 Tbsp Adams Reserve Hickory House Rub
4 slices H-E-B Organics Sliced Sharp Cheddar Cheese
4 Tsp H-E-B Pepper Toppers Jalapeño Sweet Balsamic Reduction
4 hamburger buns

Instructions

Place oil, prepped chicken and rub in zip close bag, toss to coat.

Heat grill to medium-high heat.

Remove chicken and place on grill. Grill for 5 minutes then rotate chicken and cook an additional 3 minutes to create a diamond pattern grill mark. Flip chicken and repeat.

Place cheese on each piece of chicken. Allow it to melt for a minute or two before removing from grill.

To build burger, place chicken on bottom bun, top with pepper toppers and your favorite toppings.
