Instructions

1
Toss romaine lettuce with a very light coating of salad dressing. Refrigerate until ready to use.
2
Set grill to medium heat.
3
Melt butter dollops in microwave. Drizzle over pizza crust and brush evenly on both sides.
4
Place pizza crust toppings-side down on grill until slightly crispy and just starting to brown. Turn crust over, sprinkle with half of cheese and close lid for 1 minute or just long enough for cheese to begin to melt.
5
Transfer pizza to a serving platter. Cut into 8 equal slices, but keep pieces together in a complete circle.
6
Toss dressed salad with remaining cheese and freshly ground black pepper, if desired. Gently mound salad onto grilled pizza crust and serve immediately.
7
Chef's note: Great side dish/salad for a cookout.
