2 Lb cherries, pitted
1/2 cup(s) sugar
4 Tsp cornstarch
1 pie crust, prepared
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup(s) instant oats
1/4 cup(s) flour
1/2 cup(s) light brown sugar
1 Tsp almond extract

Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F.

Combine cherries, sugar, cornstarch and 1 cup water in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Cook until sauce thickens.

Pour cherries and sauce into prepared crust.

Combine butter, oats, flour, brown sugar and almond extract in a processor bowl.

Process mixture for 30 to 40 seconds, or until mixture is chunky.

Sprinkle crumb mixture over cherries.

Bake cobbler on center oven rack for 30 to 40 minutes until cherry sauce is bubbly and crumble has browned.
