3 large eggs
2 cup(s) half & half
1 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract
1/2 Tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 Tsp nutmeg, freshly grated
1/3 cup(s) maple syrup, plus more as needed for garnish
2 cup(s) H-E-B Organics Frosted Flakes, crushed fine
4 slices H-E-B French Toast Breakfast Bread
4 Oz unsalted butter, plus more as needed for garnish

Instructions

In a blender, combine eggs, half & half, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup. Blend until creamy.

Pour egg mixture into a dish or shallow pan. Place crushed cereal into another shallow dish.

Dunk slices of bread into cream mixture and allow to soak up liquid.

Set soaked bread in cereal and toss so each slice is thoroughly coated. Set aside.

Heat a non-stick pan on medium, add butter and allow to melt.

Add 1 slice of soaked bread to hot skillet and cook each French toast stick 2 to 4 minutes per side or until each side is nicely browned, remove cooked pieces to a plate and repeat process as needed.

To serve, drizzle with warm maple syrup and melted butter.
