Recipe makes 8 Servings

8 popsicle sticks (bamboo or craft sticks work too)
8 medium granny smith apple, washed & dried
21 Hill Country Fare Milk Caramels
1 Tsp H-E-B 2% Milk
8 small glasses, to hold apples uspide down once coated

Instructions

Insert popsicle stick in stem end of apple.

Place 2 quart sauce pot with 2 cups water on the stove. Heat to medium boil.

Combine caramels and milk in 1-quart microwave safe glass bowl that fits over saucepot (like a double boiler). Microwave caramels for 30 seconds on high power, and stir.

Place bowl over boiling water to continue melting caramels, stirring often until caramel sauce is consistency of honey.

Dip each apple halfway in sauce, then decorate with sprinkles, nuts or your favorite toppings.

Place decorated apples upside down on a glass to cool.
