1/2 cup(s) all purpose vegetable shortening
1/2 cup(s) unsalted butter, softened
1 Tsp pure vanilla extract
4 cup(s) powdered sugar
2 Tbsp H-E-B Select Ingredients 2% Milk

Instructions

Combine the vegetable shortening and butter in a large mixing bowl and whip the mixture with electric mixer on high speed for 2 minutes.

After mixing, add the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the powdered sugar to the whipped butter mixture 1 cup at a time with the electric mixer on medium speed.

Add the milk and continue to mix with the electric mixer until the icing is light and fluffy.

Cover icing with a plastic wrap and keep refrigerated until ready to use.
