Shaved Ribeye "Philly Style" Cheese Steak

Recipe makes 4 Servings

2 Tbsp vegetable oil, plus more as needed
1 cup(s) white onion, julienned or thinly sliced
1 large red bell pepper, julienned or thinly sliced
2 jalapeños, thinly sliced, seeds removed if preferred less hot
16 Oz ribeye steak, very thinly sliced
2 cup(s) H-E-B Easy Melt Fiesta Cheese, cubed
1/4 cup(s) heavy cream
4 hoagie rolls

Instructions

Set a large non-stick pan over medium high-heat, add oil and allow to get hot.

Add onions and all peppers and a pinch of salt, stir-fry for 5 to 7 minutes or until onions start to caramelize slightly.

Remove peppers and onions from pan and set aside. Using the same pan add a little more oil and thinly sliced steak.

Cook steak until it just starts to caramelize slightly, remove steak from heat and set aside.

In a separate small pot set over medium heat, add cheese and cream and whisk until just melted and creamy.

To build sandwiches, toast hoagie rolls if desired, spread melted cheese liberally on each side of bread and top each with steak, peppers and onions.

Repeat process with each sandwich, add more cheese as desired.
