1. Season beef cubes as desired. 2. Heat 2 tbs oil in stockpot over Med-High heat. Brown beef 10 min. 3. Optional: remove beef to brown vegetables separately. Combine. 4. Add broth, water, or other liquid to cover beef cubes. Add chopped vegetables. Bring to a boil. 5. Cover. Simmer gently over low heat 50 min. Do not boil or meat will toughen. Option: Pan fry.
