    Safe Handling For your protection, keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. This product is prepared from inspected and passed meat.   • Stovetop: Place sausage links in a large skillet. Add 1/2 inch of water. Bring water to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cover skillet tightly with a lid. Simmer gently for 8 - 10 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 170°F. Drain water from skillet and brown sausages over medium-low heat for 2 - 3 minutes per side.
