  • Oven: Season lamb shanks as desired. Optional: Toss in seasoned flour. Preheat oven to 325°F. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat for 1 minute. Place shanks in Dutch oven and sear each side for 1 - 2 minutes. Add 1 - 2 cups of broth, juice or water, add chopped vegetables and cover with lid. Sear and braise in oven for 1.5 - 2 hours.
