Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let stand covered 5 minutes before serving. Microwave: 1. In a microwaveable dish, combine 3-3/4 cups cool water, contents of package and 1/4 lb chopped sausage or ham (optional). Stir and cover. 2. Cook on High 5 minutes. Cook another 25 minutes on 50% power. Let stand covered 5 minutes. Stir before serving.
