Ingredients
Collard Greens.Allergens and safety warnings
Keep frozen at 0°F or below.- Stovetop:
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil over high heat. Add frozen collard greens and return to a boil. Cook uncovered for 3 minutes, then reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 20 - 25 minutes or until desired tenderness. Drain and season to taste. Do not overcook.
Microwave:
To cook half package: Place frozen collard greens and 2 Tbsp water in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Cook on HIGH power for 8 - 10 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time. Drain and season to taste. To cook whole package, use 1/4 cup water and cook for 12 - 14 minutes. Microwaves do vary; adjust cooking times as necessary.
