From Weslaco, Texas, The Jank has a little bit of soul and a whole lot of flavor! Lamar Jones, owner and creator, moved to Texas from Florida after a visit to the Rio Grande Valley for a concert. He and his business partner lived in a small two‑bedroom apartment, with little to no money and slept on the floor. They started experimenting with BBQ sauces to add flavor to their meals and finally came up with this one! That’s how The Jank was born—a term they coined to mean "Too awesome to describe." And as they say, it’s so good you can put it on cake!
