Ahhh! Your locker. Also known as home-sweet-home from August through May. Nothing says more about you than that space, so before the first bell rings, give it your own personal touch. You want your locker to look good, but you also want it to be ultra-clean and neat. When you're running from class to class, it's important to know where to find everything you'll need to hit the books — and more importantly — where to find those things quickly! With our step-by-step guide, you'll have the most organized locker around.
1. Level Up
Every inch of your locker is valuable, so make use of your space in the best way possible! To fit all of your books and notebooks, think up, up, and away! Rather than stacking books on top of one another, use a shelving unit so that everything has a place of its own. At H-E-B, you'll find both expandable shelves and folding shelves, so whether you need to account for a little extra space for that big Calculus book on bottom, or just want to fit all of your notebooks and binders in a neat row, you're in luck.
2. The Color Code
Once you are sure that you have enough space for everything to fit in your locker, it's time to get organized. An easy way to do this is to assign a color for every subject. Math is blue; English is red; History is yellow, and so on. There are two ways to do this. First: when you cover your books or buy supplies like folders and notebooks, select items that are the assigned color. Otherwise, use nail polish to paint a band on the spine of your book cover, notebook, or folder. When you're pressed for time between classes or hurrying to after school practice, you'll be certain to grab the right books each time.
3. Pencil This In
Sure there are calendar reminders on your smartphone or dates that you've circled in your day planner, but writing important dates on a marker board calendar in your locker will keep them top of mind. Algebra test? Literature paper due? Big game? When you look at your calendar at a glance every time you open your locker door, you can plan to properly manage your time so that you get the win in the classroom or on the court.

Once you have everything in place, it's time to give your locker a makeover. Start gathering things that have "you" written all over them. Think pictures of you and your friends, magazine cutouts, and more!
1. Don't be a Wallflower
Wrapping paper is an easy way to make your locker graphic and bright. Choose one with an interesting pattern or pick a solid color and doodle your own drawings on it! First, start by measuring the dimensions of your locker. You'll have to decide whether you just want it on the door or lining the locker walls, as well. Then, once you've cut the paper to fit, use either sticky tack or double sided tape to adhere it to the metal. You'll want to make sure it stays all year long. Voila! You're ready for step two.
2. Stuck on You

3. Picture Yourself Here
