Based in Waelder, Texas, the family has supplied both sausage and brisket for H-E-B since 1989, developing a huge customer following along the way. "We really emphasize texture and smoked flavor," says D.J. Janecka. "Our brisket is minimally processed and smoked—just like you'd do it yourself."

The family is proud of its long standing reputation as a Texas company, and it seems fitting that H-E-B is the company's number one customer. "It's always been a big priority for H-E-B to support local companies," says Danny Janecka. "It's always a feather in our cap to work with H-E-B."
