Ever since we opened our first store in 1905, one thing has remained the same - our commitment to the Partners and communities we serve.

Throughout 2015, we're celebrating our 110th anniversary with a series of individual words that represents the culture at H-E-B. In May, our feature is on Generations.

For many Texans, working at H-E-B is a family affair. Take the Thiemes for example. In 1951, when Bert Thieme, Sr. began his career with us, little did he know he was starting a tradition that would continue for several generations. Today, 29 family members have proudly called themselves H-E-B Partners. Together they have over 200 years of combined service and counting. Ask them why and they'll tell you we do more than sell groceries, we enrich the lives of fellow Texans. After all, we're family.
