  • Cajun Jambalaya Mix Cooking Directions: Stove Top: 1 - In a sauce pan, combine 2-1/2 cups of water, jambalaya mix, 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine and 1 pound of bite size pieces of seafood, smoked sausage, ham or precooked chicken. 2 - Bring to a boil and stir well. Reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. 3 - Let cool for 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy. Microwave: 1 - In a microwaveable dish, combine 2-1/2 cups of hot water, jambalaya mix, 1 tablespoon of butter or margarine, 1 pound of bite size pieces of seafood, smoked sausage, ham or precooked chicken. 2 - Cover and cook on high for 25 minutes (Cook time may vary depending on the power of the microwave oven), stirring occasionally. 3 - Remove and let stand covered for 5 minutes. Stir, serve and enjoy.
