    Allergens and safety warnings

    Store in a cool, dry place. Differences in altitude, hardness of water and rice moisture may affect suggested cooking times.
  • Stovetop: Wash rice thoroughly in several changes of cold water until water runs clear. Drain. Combine 1 cup rice, 1-¾ water/broth, 1 Tbsp butter/oil and salt (if desired) in a medium saucepan and bring to boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until water is absorbed, about 20 - 25 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.

    Rice Cooker: Follow rice cooker instructions. Place butter/oil in bottom of rice cooker. Add rice with water/broth and cook. Fluff with fork, season to taste and serve.
