    Allergens and safety warnings

Store in a cool, dry place. Differences in altitude, hardness of water and rice moisture may affect suggested cooking times.
  • Stovetop: Wash rice thoroughly in several changes of cold water until water runs clear and drain. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup rice with 1-¼ cup water/broth and 1 Tbsp butter/oil (if desired). Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, about 35 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve.

Rice Cooker: Follow rice cooker instructions. Place butter/oil in bottom of rice cooker. Add rice and water/broth and cook. Fluff with fork, season to taste and serve.
