  • THAWING INSTRUCTIONS: REFRIGERATED THAWING: REMOVE ALL PACKAGING. Place fillets in a covered dish & thaw in refrigerator overnight. RAPID THAWING: REMOVE ALL PACKAGING. Place fillets in a resealable bag. Immerse the sealed bag in a bowl of water in sink & thaw under a thin trickle of cold running water for approximately 15-20 minutes. COOKING INSTRUCTIONS: Size & thickness of fillets will vary; adjust times accordingly. BAKE: Preheat oven to 375°F. Place thawed fillets on a lightly oiled, low-rimmed baking pan. Brush fillets with oil & season as desired. Bake fillets for 8-12 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. PAN FRY: Preheat a lightly oiled nonstick frying pan to medium-high heat. Fry thawed fillets 3.5 - 4 minutes per side or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Citrus-Glazed Halibut Prep Time 10 minutes Cook Time 8 minutes Total Time 18 minutes Ingredients 2 Servings 1 Bag of H-E-B Wild Caught Halibut Fillets 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 Tsp salt 1/2 Tsp black pepper 1/8 Tsp ground nutmeg 1 Tbsp canola oil 1 Tbsp unsalted butter 1/2 cup(s) orange juice 4 Tsp worcestershire sauce 4 Tsp lemon, juiced Instructions 1. Blend flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg in a shallow bowl. 2. Dust each side of halibut fillets with flour mixture. 3. Heat oil and butter in a large, non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. 4. Cook thawed fillets 3 minutes per side. 5. Combine orange juice, worcestershire sauce and lemon juice then add to skillet. 6. Raise heat to high and bring liquid to a boil. 7. Cook for 2 minutes until sauce thickens and glazes fish. 8. Spoon sauce over fish while cooking. 9. Serve immediately when fish flakes easily with a fork.
