Keep refrigerated.- Stovetop:
Cover roast with seasoned flour. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown roast on all sides. Wipe oil from skillet. Add 1/2 cup beef broth or 1 can of seasoned diced tomatoes. Season as desired and cover skillet tightly. Simmer gently over low heat for 2-1/2 - 3 hours until tender. Do not boil or meat will toughen. Optional: Add vegetables during the last hour.
