Description
Colombian mountain ranges provide the perfect setting for cultivating Arabica coffee. The high altitude of 5,906 – 6,562 feet, rich volcanic soil, warm temps and plenty of rain and sun all contribute to the distinctive flavor of these CAFE Olé by H-E-B Reserve Colombia Anaerobic coffee beans. On the Finca Paisandu Estate, an anaerobic fermentation process is used, which starts with hand-picking ripe coffee cherries. The next day, they’re placed in a sealed, oxygen-free fermentation tank before sun-drying on African drying beds for 2 – 3 weeks. Bring home this premium single-origin coffee for a gourmet-quality cup. Although a French press or pour-over brewer is recommended, a drip coffeemaker works as well.
