Sun Skincare Tips
Our beauty team shares some top tips for sun-care protection, from head to toe!
Tip #1
It's not just bright, sunny days that call for protection. Even on cloudy days the sun's rays can cause skin damage. It hardly seems right, but we're also exposed to the sun through an office or car window, or while we're sitting under a tree at the park. Fortunately, being smart about sun protection doesn't mean hiding indoors all season!
Tip #2
If you limit your sun exposure, especially at midday, and consistently use sun-care products as directed, you can enjoy some summer sunshine and still reduce your exposure to the sun's harmful rays.
Tip #3
Dermatologists recommend using SPF 15 or greater with UVA protecting ingredients. Many products, now available at your H E B, offer an SPF of up to 90, such as the H E B Solutions Ultra Protection Broad Spectrum Sunscreen Spray, which doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy. So go ahead—protect yourself!

Tip #4
Remember the sunless tanning products that could leave you with a deep orange stripe down the back of your leg? These days you can skip that embarrassment and get great results with L'Oréal's Sublime Self-Tanning Lotion.
Tip #5
There is a sunscreen option for every need. Your H E B beauty team member can help you find a moisturizer or foundation with sun protection. For tinted coverage, try Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup SPF 20, and for a hydrated complexion Olay Sensitive All Day Moisturizer with Sunscreen. For children, try Coppertone Kids Sport Spray and Coppertone Water Babies Stick — both SPF 50.

Tip #6
Taking care of your tresses is easy with TRESemmé Climate Protection Hairspray, which provides a touchable finish that lasts all day. It protects from humidity, UV rays, and static to keep hair vibrant and healthy looking. Take control of your hair with TRESemmé and face weather head on.
Tip #7
Sun-care products differ, so reapply as often as directed. Cover all areas exposed to the sun, including hands and the tops of your feet, and you can keep your skin beautiful and healthy for years to come.
Tip #8
Storing sunscreen in your cooler helps it last longer—and feels refreshing, too!
