0- Prep time: 5 minutes. Cook time: 15 minutes. Makes 4 servings. You will need 1 pkg. Mccormick seasoning mix. 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey. 1 can (14 - 1/2 oz). diced tomatoes, undrained or 2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce 1 can (15 to 16 oz.) kidney or pinto beans, undrained. Assorted toppings: Shredded cheese, chopped onions, sliced jalapeno peppers or sour cream. Directions: 1 Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat. drain fat. 2 Stir in seasoning mix, tomatoes and beans. Bring to boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve with toppings, if desired. Kitchen Tips: Cheesy chili Dip: Omit beans. Stir 1 lb. process cheese spread, cubed, into prepared chili. Serve hot with tortilla chips. Makes 4 cups. Blazin hot chili: Add 1 tsp. Mccormick Crushed red repper or 1/4 tsp. Mccormick Ground red pepper or 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped, with the beans.
