    ENRICHED JASMINE LONG GRAIN RICE (RICE, THIAMINE [THIAMINE MONONITRATE], NIACIN, IRON [FERRIC ORTHOPHOSPHATE], FOLIC ACID).

    KEEP IN A COOL, DRY PLACE. DO NOT LIFT LID WHILE COOKING. TO RETAIN VITAMINS DO NOT RINSE BEFORE OR DRAIN AFTER COOKING.
  • STOVE TOP: 1.) Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a 2 quart sauce pan. Stir in 1 cup of rice*. 2.) Cover; Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. *Add 1 tbsp margarine and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice if desired. For drier rice use 1¾ cups water. For moister rice use 2¼ cups of water. MICROWAVE: 1.) In a 2 quart microwave-safe dish combine 2 cups water and 1 cup of rice. 2.) Cover; microwave on High for 5 minutes. 3.) Reduce setting to 50% power and microwave for 15 minutes or until all the water is absorbed. 4.) Fluff lightly with fork and serve. Microwave ovens vary. Times given are approximate. If your microwave does not have variable power settings, follow manufacturer's directions.
