Ingredients
Enriched Jasmine Long Grain Rice (Rice, Thiamine [Thiamine Mononitrate], Niacin, Iron [Ferric Orthophosphate], Folic Acid).Allergens and safety warnings
Store in a cool, dry place. Do not lift lid while cooking. To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking.- Stovetop:
Bring 2 cups water to a boil in a 2-quart saucepan. Stir in 1 cup of rice. Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Fluff lightly with fork and serve. Optional: Add 1 Tbsp margarine and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice to saucepan before cooking if desired. For drier rice, use 1¾ cups water. For moister rice use 2¼ cups of water.
Microwave:
In a 2-quart microwave-safe dish, combine 2 cups water and 1 cup of rice. Cover and microwave on High for 5 minutes. Reduce setting to 50% power and microwave for 15 minutes or until all the water is absorbed. Fluff lightly with fork and serve.
