It comes from the area of the cow that’s just above the front legs, so needs some time to tenderize. For maximum flavor, season the brisket beforehand with your favorite dry rub or sauce, or simply salt and pepper. After letting the brisket rest, slice thinly across the grain and savor the rich beefy taste.

Season brisket to your liking and place on smoker for 12 – 14 hours. Note: It's important to maintain a consistent temperature in smoker throughout the cooking process. Remove brisket when desired tenderness is reached. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing thinly across the grain.
