Safe Handling: Perishable. Keep refrigerated.- Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F. Remove fat and silverskin. Tuck the thin end of the tenderloin under itself. Rub with softened butter and seasoning. Place in a shallow roasting pan uncovered.
Cooking Times:
• 2 - 3 lb tenderloin: 13 - 15 minutes per lb
• 4 - 5 lb tenderloin: 10 - 12 minutes per lb
Remove from oven when meat thermometer in center of roast reaches 135°F. For juicier results, let rest for 10 minutes before carving.
