Keep refrigerated or frozen. Thaw in refrigerator or microwave. Keep raw poultry separate from other foods. Wash working surfaces including cutting boards, utensils and hands after touching raw poultry. Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.- Stovetop: Place thawed crumbles or 1/2" thick slices of sausage into a pre-heated skillet. Brown turkey sausage thoroughly over medium-high heat (approximately 8 - 10 minutes for slices, turning 1 - 2 times or 8 - 10 minutes, stirring often, for crumbles). Always cook to well-done (165°F as measured by a meat thermometer).
