Cook thoroughly. Keep hot foods hot. Refrigerate leftovers immediately or discard.- Stovetop: Slice completely thawed sausage into 1/2 inch thick patties. Place patties in a cold skillet and brown the meat thoroughly over medium-high heat for approximately 4 minutes on each side. Cook until the center is no longer pink and has an internal temperature of 170°F.
