Green Beans.Allergens and safety warnings
Keep frozen at 0°F or below. For safety and quality, cook vegetables to 165°F prior to consumption.- Stovetop:
Place desired amount of frozen green beans in a small amount of boiling salted water (about 1/2 to 1 cup). Bring water rapidly to a second boil. Cover pan and reduce heat. Cook gently for 7 - 9 minutes or until tender. Avoid overcooking.
Microwave:
Place frozen green beans in a 2-quart microwave-safe dish with a good-fitting cover. Add 2 Tbsp water and cook on HIGH for 3 minutes. Stir green beans and cook for an additional 5 - 7 minutes. Allow the microwave-safe dish to stand for 2 minutes after cooking before opening. Microwave cooking times vary; avoid overcooking.
