  • Stovetop:
    Place frozen broccoli in boiling water and return to a boil. Cook uncovered on high heat for appropriate time or to desired tenderness. Drain and season to taste. Do not overcook.

    For 2 cooked cups: Use 1 cup water and cook for 3 – 4 minutes.
    For 4 cooked cups: Use 2 cups water and cook for 5 – 6 minutes.

    Microwave:
    Place frozen broccoli and water in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Cook for appropriate time or to desired tenderness, stirring halfway through cooking time. Drain and season to taste.

    For 2 cooked cups: Use 2 Tbsp water and cook for 4 – 5 minutes.
    For 4 cooked cups: Use ¼ cup water and cook for 6 – 7 minutes.

    Microwaves vary; cooking time may need adjustment.
