About George & Rubie's Favorites

What started out as leftovers ended in a conversation on how founders George and Rubie Huerta could put a Texas twist on a popular Cajun favorite. Taking their family's charro bean recipe, specially prepared proteins and that Texas jalapeño heat, they developed a pretty remarkable product. After selling their items in H-E-B, George was able to retire from being a full-time HVAC technician for over 20 years. Oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Remove meal from carton and place on a cookie sheet. Cook on middle oven rack for 45 minutes or until internal temp reaches 165°F. Remove meal from oven on cookie sheet and let stand for 2 minutes before carefully removing film.
